The junction Tauberbischofsheim (also junction 3 ) has been connecting the A 81 with the B 27 and the B 290 at Tauberbischofsheim in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg since 1972 . There is a commuter parking space directly at the junction .
geography
The junction is between the Tauberbischofsheimer districts of Dittigheim and Distelhausen . Immediately after the junction is the Taubertal Bridge , which crosses the Tauber . Only the climbs from the Taubertal on both sides of the Tauberbischofsheim junction are marked with three lanes (six lanes) for uphill traffic. Otherwise, the entire A 81 is built with four lanes.

During the construction phase in the 1970s , the additional ceiling construction station Distelhausen was set up to the north of the Distelhausen station for a period of around two years .
