Antal Deák

Antal József Deák [ ˈɒntɒl ˈjoːʒɛf ˈdɛaːk ] (born April 15, 1789 in Söjtör , † June 20, 1842 in Kehidakustány ) was a Hungarian politician.

Antal Deák studied 1804 to 1808 at the Royal Academy of Sciences in Győr law . In 1809 he took part in the uprising of the nobility against Napoléon as a lieutenant .

Like his brother Ferenc Deák, he was also a politician. After his studies he held until 1821 various posts in the administration of the county Zala , from 1825 to 1833, he represented the County as an envoy in the National Assembly . He was a supporter of the party of the moderate liberals.
