Söjtör [ ˈʃøjtør ] is a municipality in western Hungary with a population of over 1,500. It is about 50 km from Keszthely and from the Croatian and Slovenian borders. Here's Ferenc Deak , a famous politician of the Hungarian reform era was born. The house where he was born now houses a museum .

- Ferenc Deák's birth house , where the politician was born on October 17th, 1803. The house itself was built in 1785 by Deák's father.

- The Festetics family castle , built in 1820 in a classical style. Today the building functions as a school.
