Pókaszepetk [ poːkɒsɛpɛtk ] is a Hungarian community in the county Zalaegerszeg in Zala county .
Geographical location
Pókaszepetk is located 15 kilometers northeast of the town of Zalaegerszeg , on the left bank of the Zala River . Neighboring communities are Zalaistvánd, Kemendollár and Pakod.
history
Pókaszepetk was created in 1943 from the merger of the two villages Pókafalva ( first mentioned in 1453 as Pokafalua ) and Zepetk ( first mentioned in 1262 as Zepetkh ).

- The church is a monument with frescoes and arched pews in the main nave of the church from the beginning of the 20th century. The church has a newly built bell housing.

There is an archery club in the village with the aim of preserving the old tradition. Its most important opportunity for presentation is the "Equestrian Day" held annually in August. The area is known for its apples, Pókaszepetk is on the Zala Apple Road .
