Geographical location
Petrikeresztúr is located 15 kilometers southwest of the city of Zalaegerszeg . Neighboring municipalities are Iborfia , Gombosszeg and Barlahída .
history
The present municipality was created in 1948 through the merger of the towns of Petrikeresztúr and Győrfiszeg.
