Anthocercis intricata is a plant type from the genus Anthocercis in the family of the nightshade family (Solanaceae).

Anthocercis intricata is a dense, round-shaped, thorny shrub with a stature height of up to 3 m. The plant is moderately to sparsely hairy with glandular and isolated non-glandular trichomes . The hair on the trunk has disappeared with age. The leaves are narrowly elliptical to inversely ovate and almost sessile, or have a maximum 3 mm long petiole and have entire margins. The length of the leaves is 10 to 30 mm, their width 1.5 to 5.5 mm, leaves on younger plants can be larger.
The inflorescence is a cyme of three to seven flowers that are on 5 to 12 mm long pedicels . The cup becomes 3 to 4 mm long. The crown is creamy white and has purple stripes, it becomes 15 to 21 mm long. The corolla lobes are linear and 10 to 15 mm long. The stamens reach a length of 2.5 to 4 mm.
The fruit is a narrow, elongated elliptical capsule , which is often provided with a point. It becomes 5 to 17 mm long and contains seeds 1.6 to 2 mm in length.
Distribution and locations
The species is endemic to the south-western coasts of Western Australia and occurs there between Shark Bay and Geraldton . It usually grows in small, scattered populations on compact dunes.
