Antje Feiks (* 1979 in Riesa ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ).

Life

After abandoning his law studies at the TU Dresden , Feiks completed a dual degree in business administration at the Dresden University of Cooperative Education from 2001 . After an interlude at a tour operator in Frankfurt am Main, she returned to Saxony in 2006, where she took on a parental leave replacement at the regional office of the regional association Die Linke Sachsen . From 2009 to 2017 Feiks was the party's country manager. In the state elections in Saxony in 2014 , she initially missed entry into the Saxon state parliament on list position 31 , but moved to the Saxon state parliament on September 1, 2017 after Falk Neubert's resignation . In the left-wing parliamentary group, she is responsible for the topics of media, network policy, data protection, tourism and rural areas. In 2015 she ran for the district council election of the Erzgebirgskreis against the incumbent Frank Vogel (CDU) and received 19.0% of the vote.

On November 4, 2017 - at the suggestion of the previous incumbent Rico Gebhardt - she was elected state chairman in a vote against André Schollbach .
