Antje Tillmann (born August 28, 1964 in Düsseldorf ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2002.

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1983, Antje Tillmann studied public finance at the University of Applied Sciences for Finance in Nordkirchen , which she completed in 1986 with a degree in finance. After that she worked as a tax officer in North Rhine-Westphalia . In 1991 she moved to Brandenburg , where she took part in setting up the University of Applied Sciences for Finance in Königs Wusterhausen . In 1993 she finally went to Thuringia and worked in the local finance ministry. In 1998 she passed the tax advisor exam .

Antje Tillmann is Roman Catholic , divorced and has a daughter.

As a 14-year-old student, Tillmann co-founded a group of the Schüler Union in 1980 at her school at the time, a church high school . Today she is a member of the CDU district executive committee in Erfurt and Weimar.

Antje Tillmann was a member of the city ​​council of Neuss from 1989 to 1993 and of the city council of Erfurt from 1994 to 2002, where she was last chairwoman of the CDU city council group from 1998. She was also a city council member from 2014 to 2019 in Erfurt.

Tillmann has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2002 . In 2002 and 2005 she entered the Bundestag via the Thuringian state list .
