Antoaneta Selenska

Antoaneta Selenska ( Bulgarian Антоанета Селенска , born Тодорова - Todorowa; born June 8, 1963 in Samovodene , Veliko Tarnowo Oblast ) is a former Bulgarian javelin thrower .

In 1980 she was tenth at the Olympic Games in Moscow . The following year she won the European Athletics Cup in Zagreb with the world record of 71.88 m and the World Athletics Cup in Rome .

The Olympic boycott of Bulgaria prevented participation in the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. At the alternate friendship competitions, she won silver.

In 1988 she was eleventh at the Olympic Games in Seoul and in 1990 seventh at the European Athletics Championships in Split . At the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo in 1991 and at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, ​​she was eliminated from the qualification. In 1993 she was tenth at the World Championships in Stuttgart and in 1994 eighth at the European Championship in Helsinki .

She was Bulgarian champion eleven times (1981-1984, 1987, 1988, 1990-1994).
