Antoine V. de Gramont (born January 1671 at Château de Gramont, Vlichenave-sur-Bidouze, Basse-Navarre ; † September 16, 1725 ibid) was a French officer, general and diplomat. He was Duke of Guiche, 4th Duke of Gramont and since 1724 Maréchal de France .

He was the son of Antoine-Charles de Gramont the 3rd Duke of Gramont. His military career began when he joined the Royal Musketeers at the age of thirteen . On March 13, 1687 he married Marie Christine de Noailles (1672–1748), daughter of Anne Jules de Noailles, 2nd Duke of Noailles .

In the Palatine War of Succession (1688-1697) de Gramont took part. In 1688 he was involved in the siege of Philippsburg , where he accepted the offer of surrender from the besieged. He fought in the battle of Walcourt , in which his horse was shot under him, as well as in the battle of Fleurus (1690) , in Liège , in the battle of Leuze , the siege of Namur , in Tongres , the siege of Huy ( Belgium) , the Battle of Neerzüge , and the Siege of Charleroi (1693). In 1694 he was promoted to Maréchal de camp . In 1696 he was appointed Mestre de camp general of the Dragoons in the service of Maréchal Nicolas de Catinat and Maréchal Louis-François de Boufflers . He also took part in the War of the Spanish Succession (1701-1714) . In 1702 he was appointed Colonel général of the Dragoons and in 1705 he was appointed envoy to the court of Philip V of Spain . In 1706 he took part in the Battle of Ramillies, was part of the fort's garrison at the Siege of Lille (1708) and was wounded in the Battle of Malplaquet .

In 1712 he became lieutenant général of Bayonne and lieutenant général and governor of Navarre and Béarn . In 1713 he fought in the siege of Landau . In 1715 he became a member of the council of war that had been set up during the period of the Régence . When his father died in 1720 he inherited him as Duc de Gramont .

He was one of the eight directors of the Compagnie française des Indes Orientales (French Far East Indian Company).

From 1704 to 1717 he was "Colonel général des Gardes-Françaises"

In 1724 he was made Marshal of France and died a year later in his castle.
