Antonín Jiránek

Antonín Jiránek ( Anton Giranek , * around 1712 in Mladá Boleslav , † January 16, 1761 in Dresden ) was a Bohemian violinist and composer.

Life

Antonín Jiránek was trained in Prague. He was the first violinist in the royal chapel in Warsaw and later in the Polish court orchestra in Dresden. He composed symphonies, concerts, trio sonatas and vocal music in the style of sensitivity . At the beginning of the 20th century, musicologists were able to assign some of the works ascribed to him to his namesake František Jiránek .

Robert Eitner states that his daughter Franziska was the famous singer "Madame Koch" . Another daughter was the castle actress Karoline Krüger .
