Anton Carl Baworowski
Anton Carl Baworowski (born January 28, 1853 in Vienna , † 1927 in Munich ) was an Austrian genre and history painter and illustrator. He came from a Polish noble family.
Baworowski began his painting studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with Karl von Blaas , Eduard von Engerth , Carl Wurzinger and Johann Nepomuk Geiger . He continued his studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Ludwig von Löfftz and Wilhelm Dürr the Elder . After graduating, he settled in Munich in 1883.
Baworowski dealt with history painting. Since 1892 he devoted himself to book graphics.
