Anton Hagman (born September 8, 1998 in Västerås as Anton Per Erik Hagman ) is a Swedish singer and web video producer on the YouTube platform . He became famous for participating in the Melodifestivalen 2017 , the Swedish preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 .

Life

Anton Hagman was born in 1998 in Västerås in the province of Västmanland County . He has a brother who is two years younger. Hagman began singing and playing guitar at the age of four. He was discovered by a talent scout in 2014. Since then, he has been posting videos on the Internet platform YouTube .

In 2017 Anton Hagman took part in the Melodifestivalen , the Swedish preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest . With the song Kiss You Goodbye, he first reached the "Andra Chansen" round, in which he won his duel against Loreen , and finally took tenth place in the final. In 2019 Hagman took part in the Melodifestivalen again with the song Känner dig . He failed to qualify for another round of the competition.
