Anton Joseph Steinbusch (born November 10, 1829 in Bardenberg , † April 17, 1883 in Wissen ) was a German Roman Catholic scholar, priest , humanist and politician. From 1859 he was rector (vicarius residens) of Altenberg Cathedral for ten years . He was the initiator of a bourgeois local newspaper and the later Westerwald Bank . From 1879 until his death he held a seat in the Prussian House of Representatives for the German Center Party .
