Anton Sergejewitsch Kokorin ( Russian Антон Сергеевич Кокорин ; born April 5, 1987 in Tashkent , Soviet Union ) is a Russian athlete who specializes in the 400-meter run .

In 2006 he took part in the World Junior Athletics Championships in Beijing and reached the semi-finals in the 400-meter run. Over the same distance, he was 2007 Russian U23 champion and fourth at the U23 European Athletics Championships in Debrecen .

At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing he won the bronze medal with the Russian 4 x 400 meter relay . With a time of 2: 58.06 min. the season achieved a Russian national record in this discipline. However, in 2016, the relay participant Denis Alexejew was proven doping during follow-up tests and the relay was subsequently disqualified .

Anton Kokorin is 1.84 m tall and has a competition weight of 78 kg.
