Anton Lüdinghusen (* 1511 in Lübeck ; † April 28, 1571 there ) was mayor of Lübeck.

Life

Anton Lüdinghusen was the son of Lübeck councilor Nikolaus Lüdinghusen, who died in 1528 . He was elected to the council in 1552 and appointed mayor in 1562 . He was in the years 1561-64 and the end of 1566 combing Lord . As envoy he represented the city in 1558 and 1559 in London for negotiations with Queen Maria and at several Hanseatic days in Lübeck and at the Hanseatic days in Bremen in 1558. The Lüdinghusen family inherited a side chapel named after them in the Petrikirche from the Freudenberg family. Anton Lüdinghusen's epitaph was in the choir of the Petrikirche .

He was married three times: 1. 1540 to Anna Stippkolck; 2. around 1564 with Agneta NN (widow of Jacob Freudenberg); 3. around 1567 with Adelheid lamp. After his death, his widow Adelheid's wish to remarry ("... Heyrath with her seel. Spouse, sister-daughter-son Hermann Büning ...") resolved a violent dispute with the council under the leadership of Lübeck's mayor Hieronymus Lüneburg and the clergyman Ministry under the leadership of Seniors Peter Christian from Friemersheim .

Anton's son's first marriage, Johann Lüdinghusen , also became mayor of Lübeck.

He lived in his father's house Schüsselbuden 18 in a central location in Lübeck's old town .
