Anton Nordhausen

Anton Nordhausen (born April 10, 1928 in Gangelt ; † March 10, 2013 ibid) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school, he studied law at the University of Cologne, passed the first and second state exams and worked as a lawyer . In 1978 he became managing director of Kreiswerke Heinsberg GmbH. He was married and had one child.

From 1964 to 1978 Nordhausen was a member of the district assembly of the Selfkantkreis Geilenkirchen-Heinsberg and the district of Heinsberg . From November 2, 1969 until the regional reform on December 31, 1971, he was the last district administrator in the Selfkant district of Geilenkirchen-Heinsberg. He was active in various committees of the district council of North Rhine-Westphalia .
