Anton Persson (born February 26, 1995 ) is a Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Persson, who competes for the SK Bore, took part in the Nordic Scandinavian Cup for the first time in Östersund in January 2013 and finished in 156th place in the sprint. He ran his first World Cup race in Stockholm in February 2016 , which he finished in 70th place in the sprint. In August 2017, he and Erik Silfver won the silver medal in the team sprint at the Rollerski World Championships in Sollefteå . At the U23 World Championships in Goms in 2018 , he finished 26th in the sprint, 15th in the skiathlon and 14th place over 15 km classic. At the beginning of March 2018 he got his first World Cup points in Lahti with the 24th place in the sprint.
