Silfver started in the Scandinavian Cup for the first time in 2011 and achieved his first top 15 placement in February 2012 in the Albu sprint with 13th place. Silfver achieved his first top 10 result in February 2013 with eighth place in the freestyle sprint in Jõulumäe ; In February 2015, he finished ninth in the freestyle sprint at the same location, having previously achieved the best qualifying time.
