Erik Silfver (born May 27, 1990 ) is a Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Silfver started in the Scandinavian Cup for the first time in 2011 and achieved his first top 15 placement in February 2012 in the Albu sprint with 13th place. Silfver achieved his first top 10 result in February 2013 with eighth place in the freestyle sprint in Jõulumäe ; In February 2015, he finished ninth in the freestyle sprint at the same location, having previously achieved the best qualifying time. In February 2015, Silfver also started in the cross-country skiing world cup for the first time , where he finished 35th in the sprint in Östersund . At his second World Cup participation in March 2015 in Lahti , he finished 26th and scored his first World Cup points; at the sprint in Drammen , Silfver was ranked 41st. In the summer of 2016, he took second place four times in the Rollerski World Cup and thus achieved second place in the overall standings. In March 2017, he became Swedish champion together with Teodor Peterson in the team sprint in Umeå . At the 2017 Rollerski World Championships in Sollefteå , he and Anton Persson won the silver medal in the team sprint.
