Anton Schäfer (born August 31, 1965 in Hohenems ; pseudonym: Antonius Opilio ) is a licensed attorney in Liechtenstein and a court expert appointed in Austria . The main focus of his work as a lawyer is commercial law . He works as an expert in the fields of electrical engineering (including photovoltaics ) and lighting technology.

He is the author of several specialist publications on European and Liechtenstein law.

biography

Anton Schäfer grew up as the third of five children of Anton Josef and Elsa Maria Schäfer (née Gächter) in Dornbirn . Schäfer is married and has a son and a daughter.

Schäfer studied from 1995 to 2002 at the University of Innsbruck and received his doctorate there in 2002 to Dr. iur. ( Summa cum laude ). He completed his master's degree in European law ( Schloss Hofen ) from 2002 to 2004 with a “ Master of Laws ” (LL.M.). From 2005 to 2007 he studied Liechtenstein corporate law at the University of Liechtenstein .

From 2004 until the portal (magazine) was discontinued, he was a journalist and editor at Europa-Digital.de. He is chairman of the EuropaUnion Vorarlberg (EU-V). He has been working as a voluntary legal advisor for the members of the Pensioners' Association in Vorarlberg, Kolping Society in Feldkirch and Friends of Nature in Feldkirch since 2010. Since 2015 also the platform for poverty migration in Vorarlberg. From 1991 to 2003 he was a functionary in various specialist groups of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce ( Vorarlberg Chamber of Commerce ).

Schäfer is a member of the Liechtenstein Bar Association (LIRAK) and the main association of sworn and court-certified experts , the Board of Trustees for Electrical Engineering (KFE), the Austrian Standards Institute (Austrian Standards International - ASI) and has been a member of the board of Vorarlberger Volkshilfe since October 24, 2019 .
