Anton Schilhahn

Anton Schilhahn (born October 2, 1952 in Schweinfurt ) is a German priest and Roman Catholic theologian .

Schilhahn studied Catholic theology and philosophy at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz . In 1983 he was ordained a priest through Paul-Werner Scheele . He was chaplain in Ebelsbach and Alzenau and in 1984 became pastor of Großwenkheim, later also Kleinwenkheim, Seubrigshausen and Fridritt.

After a PhD study of canon law at the Pontifical University Antonianum in Rome, he was with the thesis "Marriage according to the understanding of the Second Vatican Council" to Dr. iur can. PhD. In 2001 in Budapest a further doctorate on a fundamental theoretical dissertation on "The Appearance of Jesus from a Fundamental Theological Aspect" to obtain a Dr. theol. In 1983 he was appointed professor at the Péter Pázmány Catholic University . He lectures at the Augustinian Canons in Villingen, at the Baronius Academy of the St. Philipp Neri Institute , the University of Potsdam and the Gustav Siewerth Academy , where he works as Vice Rector, Spiritual and University Pastor.
