Anton "Toni" Welkow (also written Anton Velkov , Bulgarian Антон Велков ; born July 15, 1968 in Sofia ) is a former Bulgarian football player and today's coach .

Coaching career

From December 2010 he was coach of the Bulgarian first division club FC Chernomorez Burgas , but was dismissed on March 21, 2011 after losing to bottom of the table Widimi Rakowski, after a total of four games. Under him, Chernomorets could only secure one point in four games. In early October of the same year he was introduced as the trainer of Lokomotiv Sofia after his predecessor Dijan Petkov was sacked after a series of defeats.

Private

His son Kostadin is also a soccer player and is currently training under him at Lokomotiv Sofia.
