Anton of Cavallar

Anton von Cavallar (* around 1775 in Trieste ; † September 16, 1831 in Vienna ) was an old Austrian diplomat , officer , kk court secretary of the united court chancelleries and the kk Dalmatian-Albanian court office as well as a government and accountant in Vienna. He is said to have been appointed Greffier of the Order of the Iron Crown . His predecessor was the Court Commissioner von Mambretti and his successor was the Court Councilor of the Imperial and Royal Supreme Court of Justice, Leopold Edler von Blumfeld .

Anton of Cavallar

From 1791 to 1799 he was consul general and from 1799 to 1800 imperial civil commissioner in the Republic of Ancona . Cavallar is said to have been consul for a time on the island of Majorca ("in the Mediterranean Sea") as well as in Civitanuova , Fermo , Recanati and Macerata .

On June 25, 1800, in the name of Her Imperial Majesty Franz II of the Holy Roman Empire of German Nations , he handed over power over Ancona to the lands of the Holy See by the highest resolution .

During the year 1814 he actively campaigned for the negotiations taking place in Venice on the conditions and circumstances before the establishment of the Kingdom of Lombardy-Veneto .
