Antonie Erhartt ( April 14, 1826 in Vienna - August 25, 1853 in Pest ) was an Austrian theater actress and opera singer ( soprano ).

Life

Her parents were engaged at the Leopoldstädter Theater and Erhartt was already employed on the stage as a six-year-old child. Since she also had a beautiful soprano voice, her father had her trained first with the well-known Kapellmeister Adolf Müller senior and later with Giovanni Gentiluomo .

In 1843 Erhartt made her debut at the Leopoldstädter Theater in Mädel aus der Vorstadt and was immediately engaged by director Carl Carl for his two theaters, in whose association she remained until 1847. She then worked for a year at the State Theater in Linz and was hired in 1848 for the Brno City Theater . Her career was supposed to begin in 1852, but she died unexpectedly during a guest performance at the Deutsches Theater in Pest.

She left behind her daughter Louise Erhartt , who later also became a stage actress.
