Antonina Nikolaevna Lasareva

Antonina Nikolajewna Lasarewa ( Russian Антонина Николаевна Лазарева , English transcription Antonina Lazareva ; born Окорокова - Okorokowa - Okorokova ; born March 27, 1941 in Serpukhov ) is a former Soviet high jumper .

In 1968 she won bronze at the European Indoor Games in Madrid and at the Olympic Games in Mexico City with 1.80 m silver behind Milena Rezková from Czechoslovakia (1.82 m) and in front of her compatriot Walentyna Kosyr at the same height .

In 1969, a bronze medal at the European Indoor Games in Belgrade was followed by a silver medal at the European Athletics Championships in Athens . At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, she was eliminated from qualification.

She was Soviet outdoor champion five times (1967, 1968, 1970, 1972, 1973), and in indoor she won the national title in 1971. She set her personal best of 1.88 m on August 20, 1971 in Oryol .
