Antonio Deig Clotet

Antonio Deig Clotet , Catalan spelling Antoni Deig i Clotet , (born March 11, 1926 in Navàs , † August 12, 2003 in Manresa ) was Bishop of Solsona .

Life

Antonio Deig Clotet was ordained a priest on April 16, 1949 .

Paul VI appointed him Bishop of Menorca on September 20, 1977 . The Archbishop of Tarragona , José Pont y Gol , consecrated him bishop on November 5th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Miguel Moncadas Noguera , Bishop of Solsona, and Ramón Malla Call , Bishop of Lleida .

The Pope appointed him Bishop of Solsona on March 7, 1990 . On July 28, 2001, John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
