The Diocese of Menorca ( Latin : Dioecesis Minoricensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese in Spain with its seat in Ciutadella .
history
The Diocese of Menorca was established in the 5th century and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Valencia as a suffragan .
After it was destroyed by the conquest of Spain by the Moors , it was not rebuilt until 1798.
