The Roman Catholic Diocese of Huesca ( lat. : Dioecesis Oscensis ) is in Spain situated Roman Catholic diocese , based in Huesca .
history
The diocese of Huesca was established by Pope John II in 533 and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Tarragona as a suffragan . On June 14, 1318, the diocese of Huesca was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Saragossa as a suffragan.
The Bishop of Huesca is in persona episcopi also Bishop of Jaca .
