The Archdiocese of Granada ( Latin : Archidioecesis Granatensis , Spanish : Archidiócesis de Granada ) is an archdiocese of the Roman Catholic Church based in Granada in Spain .

history

The Archdiocese of Granada was founded as the Diocese of Granada in the 3rd century . On December 10, 1492, the elevation to an archbishopric was made by Pope Alexander VI.
