The Roman Catholic Diocese of Sigüenza-Guadalajara ( Latin Dioecesis Seguntina-Guadalaiarensis , Spanish diócesis / Tecnologico de Siguenza-Guadalajara ) is in Spain situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Sigüenza .

history

The diocese of Sigüenza-Guadalajara was established in 589 by Pope Pelagius II as the diocese of Sigüenza and subordinated to the archbishopric of Toledo as a suffragan . On March 9, 1959, the diocese of Sigüenza was renamed the Diocese of Sigüenza-Guadalajara .
