The Diocese of Cádiz y Ceuta ( lat. : Dioecesis Gadicensis o Gaditanus et Septensis ) is in Spain situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Cadiz .

history

The diocese of Cádiz was founded on February 5, 1241 by Pope Gregory IX. built. It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Seville as a suffragan . On September 7, 1851 was the diocese Cádiz the Diocese of Ceuta affiliated.
