The Diocese of Teruel y Albarracín ( Latin Dioecesis Terulensis et Albarracinensis ) is in Spain situated Roman Catholic diocese , based in Teruel .
history
The diocese of Teruel y Albarracín was on July 31, 1577 by Pope Gregory XIII. Established from the cession of territory by the Archdiocese of Saragossa as the Diocese of Teruel . It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Saragossa as a suffragan . On September 7, 1851, the Diocese of Albarracín was attached to the Diocese of Teruel. The Diocese of Teruel-Albarracín was renamed on August 11, 1984 in the Diocese of Teruel y Albarracín .
