The Archdiocese of Santiago de Compostela ( Latin Archidioecesis Compostellana , Spanish Diócesis de Santiago de Compostela ), based in Santiago de Compostela , was raised to an archbishopric by Pope Kalixt II. In 1120. It has been directed by Archbishop Julián Barrio Barrio since 1996 .
history
