The Roman Catholic Diocese of Mondoñedo-Ferrol ( Latin Dioecesis Mindoniensis-Ferrolensis , Spanish diócesis de Mondoñedo-Ferrol ) is in Spain situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Mondoñedo .
history
Development of membership numbers
The diocese of Mondoñedo-Ferrol was established in 1114 by Pope Paschal II as the diocese of Mondoñedo . The diocese Mondoñedo was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Santiago de Compostela on February 27, 1120 as a suffragan. On March 9, 1959, the diocese of Mondoñedo was renamed the Diocese of Mondoñedo-Ferrol .
