The diocese of Barbastro-Monzón ( Latin : Dioecesis Barbastrensis-Montisonensis , Spanish : Diócesis de Barbastro-Monzón ) is a diocese of the Roman Catholic Church based in Barbastro in Spain .

The diocese was founded in the 12th century as the diocese of Barbastro . Pope John Paul II renamed the diocese on June 15, 1995 to the diocese of Barbastro-Monzón . It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Saragossa .
