El Buen Pastor Cathedral in San Sebastian

The diocese of San Sebastián was on November 2, 1949 by Pope Pius XII. Established with the Apostolic Constitution Quo commodius from cessions of territory of the Diocese of Vitoria and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Burgos as a suffragan . On August 11, 1956, the diocese of San Sebastián was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Pamplona y Tudela as a suffragan.
