The Roman Catholic Diocese of Málaga ( lat. : Dioecesis Malacitanus ) is in Spain situated Roman Catholic diocese , based in Málaga .

history

The first traces of the diocese go back to the 3rd century. The diocese of Malaga was established on August 4th, 1486 by Pope Innocent VIII . On December 10, 1492, the diocese of Málaga was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Granada as a suffragan .
