The Roman Catholic Diocese of Osma-Soria ( lat. Dioecesis Oxomensis-Soriana , span. Diócesis de Osma-Soria ) is in Spain situated Roman Catholic diocese , based in El Burgo de Osma-Ciudad de Osma .
history
The Diocese of Osma-Soria was established in 1088 as the Diocese of Osma . In 1099 it was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Toledo as a suffragan . On June 19, 1861, the Diocese of Osma was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Burgos as a suffragan. The Diocese of Osma was renamed the Diocese of Osma-Soria on March 9, 1959 .
