Abilio Martínez Varea (born January 29, 1964 in Autol , La Rioja , Spain ) is a Spanish clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Osma-Soria .
Life
Abilio Martínez Varea received on 30 September 1989, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On January 5, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Osma-Soria . The Archbishop of Burgos , Fidel Herráez Vegas , donated him episcopal ordination on March 11th of the same year . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Barcelona , Juan José Omella Omella , and the Bishop of Calahorra y La Calzada-Logroño , Carlos Manuel Escribano Subías .
