Fidel Herráez Vegas (born July 28, 1944 in Ávila , Spain ) is Archbishop of Burgos .
Life
Fidel Herráez Vegas received on 19 May 1968, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
May 14, 1996 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Cediae and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Madrid . The Archbishop of Madrid, Antonio María Rouco Varela , donated him episcopal ordination on June 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Nuncio in Spain, Archbishop Lajos Kada , and the Archbishop Emeritus of Madrid, Ángel Cardinal Suquía .
On October 30, 2015, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Burgos. The inauguration took place on November 28 of the same year.
