The Roman Catholic Diocese of Ibiza ( lat. : Dioecesis Ebusitana ) is in Spain situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Ibiza Town (Ciutat d'Eivissa).
history
The diocese of Ibiza was founded on April 30, 1782 by Pope Pius VI. established with the Apostolic Constitution Ineffabilis Dei and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Tarragona as a suffragan . In 1949 the diocese of Ibiza was subordinated to the archbishopric of Valencia as a suffragan.
