Antonio Ermolao Paoletti (born May 8, 1834 in Venice ; † December 13, 1912 there ) was an Italian genre painter, fresco artist and art teacher.

Born as the son of Ermolao Paoletti , the Venetian scholar, writer, painter and engraver, he received his first painting lessons from his father. He then studied at the Accademia di belle arti di Venezia with Pompeo Marino Molmenti (1819–1894).

After graduating, he worked as a genre and church painter. His genre painting was influenced by the works of the "Bamboccianti", the Dutch painters of the 17th century.

He created frescoes and altar leaves in the Venetian churches. In the parish church of San Materno in Melara in the province of Rovigo , he created a picture in the main altar in 1863 with the depictions of Saints Anthony and Maternus and the Madonna of the Rosary. In the Cathedral of Belluno he painted the Assumption of Mary on the vault of the apse .

Antonio Ermolao Paoletti, like his father, was appointed professor at the Accademia di belle arti di Venezia.

Some of his works served as templates for stained glass windows in the Stanford Memorial Church in Palo Alto .
