Antonio Farage
Antonio Farage , also Anthony Faraj or Antonios Faraj (born December 28, 1885 in Damascus , Syria , † November 9, 1963 ) was titular archbishop and patriarchal procurator in Antioch .
Life
The ordination received Antonio Farage on July 20, 1908. On January 1, 1922 he was appointed titular bishop of Laodicea in Syria per i Melchiti and Patriarchal Vicar for Egypt and the Sudan appointed. The episcopal ordination donated him on the same day the Patriarch of Antioch Archbishop Demetrios I. Kadi . From January 1, 1922 until the day he died on November 9, 1963, he was procurator in Antioch. In a secondary position he was Patriarchal Vicar of Alexandria from 1922 to 1928 and succeeded Etienne Soukkarie , his successor as Patriarchal Vicar was Dionisio Kfoury . On March 7, 1961, he was appointed titular archbishop of Damiata dei Greco-Melkiti .
