Antonio Fessia
Antonio Fessia (born November 27, 1901 in Turin , † August 19, 1968 in Borgomasino (Turin)) was an Italian automobile and aircraft designer.
Life
Fessia completed his engineering studies at the Politecnico di Torino in July 1923 and worked for Fiat since 1925 . a. in aircraft construction and in the development of the Topolino small car together with Dante Giacosa . After the Italcementi Group took over Lancia , he became Technical Director at Lancia, replacing Vittorio Jano in this position. In the same year he set about revising the new Lancia Flaminia and its engine. The Flavia and Fulvia models were also created under Fessia's direction . Antonio Fessia also worked as a university professor, and the designer Leonardo Fioravanti was one of his students.
