Antonio Gorostegui Ceballos (born April 1, 1954 ) is a former Spanish sailor .

successes

Antonio Gorostegui took part in the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal with Pedro Millet in the 470 dinghy . With 49.7 total points they took second place behind Harro Bode and Frank Hübner and thus received the silver medal. In 1980 in Moscow he was seventh in the boat class Star with José María Benavides as well as in the 1984 Games in Los Angeles with José Luis Doreste . Four years later in Seoul he started in the Soling boat class and finished 17th in the regatta. Gorostegui was world champion three times : 1974 in Naples with Manuel Albalat in the 470 dinghy and in 1982 in Medemblik and 1983 in Marina del Rey with José Luis Doreste in the star boat. In 1982 he also won the title at the European Championships with Doreste in the star boat.
