Life

Antonio Manno was initially a student of a lesser known painter named Gambino . In order to continue his artistic education, Manno went to Rome , where he was only accepted into the Accademia di San Luca years later, on September 7, 1788 . Back in Palermo he went to Vito d'Anna , with whom he painted the large fresco cycle in the SS. Salvatore of Palermo in 1763 and 1765.
