Antonio Peñalver Asensio (born December 11, 1968 in Alhama de Murcia ) is a former Spanish decathlete . His greatest achievement was winning the silver medal at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona . Peñalver Asensio also won bronze in the heptathlon at the 1992 European Indoor Championships in Genoa .
