Antonios Kriezis ( Greek Αντώνιος Κριεζής , Albanian  Antonio Kryeziu ("Schwarzkopf"); * 1796 in Damala , † 1865 in Athens ) was a Greek politician and former prime minister .

Kriezis came from a respected Arvanite family on the island of Hydra . During the Greek War of Independence of 1821 he served in the navy and took part in the naval battles of Samos and Spetses . In 1825 he and Konstantinos Kanaris set fire to an Egyptian ship in the port of Alexandria . In 1828 he was appointed commodore of a naval squadron by Governor Ioannis Kapodistrias . In this office he conquered Vonitsa in what is now the Aetolia-Acarnania prefecture from the Ottoman occupiers .

In 1836 he was appointed Minister of the Navy by King Otto I. From August 1841 to the uprisings of September 3, 1843 he was de facto also President of the Ministerial Council under this, even if the King officially held this office himself.

From December 24th, 1849 to May 28th, 1854 he was Prime Minister of a government that up to this point had been extraordinarily long and stable.
