Antti Häkämies (born February 13, 1986 in Kotka ) is a Finnish cross-country skier .

Career

Häkämies started in Vuokatti for the first time in the cross-country skiing Scandinavian Cup in December 2005 and finished in 139th place over 15 km classic and 35th place in the sprint. At the Junior World Championships 2006 in Kranj , he was fifth in the sprint. He made his debut in the Cross-Country World Cup in November 2006 in Kuusamo , which he finished in 51st place in the sprint. In January 2011 he achieved 13th place in the classic Vasaloppet China over 50 km. The following month he reached in Jõulumäe with the second place in the sprint his first and only podium in the Scandinavian Cup. In March 2012 he got his first World Cup points in Lahti with 29th place in the sprint. He achieved his best individual placement in the World Cup to date at the Nordic Opening 2012 in Kuusamo with 25th place in the sprint.
