Anwar Uddin (born November 1, 1981 in Whitechapel , London Borough of Tower Hamlets ) is an English football player .

Uddin was born in London as a descendant of Bangladeshi immigrants. After he had played in the youth team of West Ham United and was in the reserve team West Hams team captain, his first stations in professional football were Sheffield United ( First Division ) and the Bristol Rovers ( Third Division ).

Uddin currently plays for the fourth division club Dagenham & Redbridge .
